Encapsulation and Containment Systems
Today’s duty-of-care requirements for environmental protection and occupational health and safety, means that open-air blasting without any responsibility for the consequences, is a thing of the past.
To complement our range of abrasive blasting equipment, Blastech has a range of encapsulation systems to contain and control the abrasive blasting process. The Blastclad system of containment sheeting and fixtures consists of an abrasion and UV resistant polyethylene sheeting, joining clamps and elasticized ties.
A variety of dust collection systems are available for use in conjunction with the sheeting to provide a safe, efficient method for containing abrasive blasting.
Vacuum Blasting Systems
BRS Recovery System
As an alternative to containment for site blasting, Blastech can supply vacuum blasting systems. Blastech’s BRS is a combined blasting and vacuum recovery system.
The BRS system includes a pressure blast pot, an Eductor vacuum pump, cyclonic separator and dust collector in one portable self-contained unit.
The combination of these components provides a closed-circuit system of blasting and abrasive recovery, cleaning and reuse, with strict dust control.
