Climate Monitoring
The rugged Paint-Gauge DPM Dew Point Meter measures and records climatic parameters including relative humidity, air temperature, surface temperature and dew point temperature, and provides both audio and visual alarms when conditions aren’t suitable for painting. With 2,500 reading memory and statistical reports, the DPM lets you continuously monitor for peace of mind. Plus rugged construction ensures long life.
Surface Profile Measurement
The innovative Testex system uses a Mylar tape for fast and simple replication of the blasted surface. This accurate replication can then be measured with an anvil micrometer to provide a standards compliant record of profile height.
Adhesion Testing
The Paint-Gauge Pull-Off adhesion tester measures adhesion of coatings to metal, wood, concrete and other substrates. This hydraulic system uses single-use dollies which are adhered to the surface requiring testing for simple and accurate testing of coating adhesion. A unique self-alignment feature of the peel-off gauge ensures reliable and consistent measurement of the force required to remove coating.
Holiday Detection
Air bubbles, inclusions, thin-build areas and hairline cracks in coatings are all potential points for coating failure. The self calibrating Elcometer 266 holiday detector is safe, easy to use and versatile.
A unique feature of the 266 is the built-in crest meter which allows for the unit to be calibrated. Third-party QA compliance has not been possible with previous holiday detectors. Extended ribbing on the hand piece and a dual safety switch to prevent accidental operation combine to provide a safer unit.
The 266 will accept a variety of different probe handles with various voltages, and the battery pack is removable for off-gauge charging.
